for an extremely nichey audience
I make $25 an hour and live in LA, where rent is one-million dollars, so I’m not a huge shopper because I literally cannot afford to be. In any case, I love stuff, and I even love window-shopping, so I wanted to put together a little list for anyone who (1) needs gift ideas, (2) can afford fun things, or (3) like me, just likes to look at fun things.
Most of the items listed here are on my personal wishlist, except for the items I (a) own already (noted, when applicable) or (b) made myself. Enjoy!
For the homebody:
This scent. One of these cute planters, or this funky vase. This bath oil (someone gave this to me—delicious). This jewelry holder.
For the long-term lover:
These gorgeous pajamas. Some new date ideas. A nice pillow (I have two. Fantastic.). A high-quality Scrabble board (my dad has this & I love it) or chess game.
For the new lover:
This book. A pretty candle. A sweet card. A silly poster.
For the beauty/skincare fiend:
This lotion (my best friend has it and I love it). This eyeliner. This nail polish. This book. Or maybe this one. The world’s best sunscreen (I own it; I love it; I swear by it). Niamicide (own; use daily) or this cleanser (own; use daily). A chapstick that actually works and doesn’t cause acne (own; use daily). A set of perfume samples.
For the fashionista/o/e:
A set of Sambas. This necklace. One of these coats. These scrunchies (own; use daily).
For your best friend:
This book, or this one (loved it), or maybe this one. A customized pet pillow. A fun bumper sticker. These earrings (I own them—and that’s actually my ear in one of the photos!). This shirt.
For the dyke in your life:

For the foodie:
This coffee. These olives. This cookbook (I bought this for myself) or maybe this one (I have this, too). Artisan lollipops. Some tea or hot sauce.
