Hi. You’re getting your second newsletter of the week early because I’m avoiding my *actual* responsibilities & also everything in the world is Bad right now & everyone I know is suffering, in one way or another.
Anyways, here’s a little round-up for you. I hope you like it. (Open in new tab—it’s a long one.)
Here’s what I have for you today:

Housekeeping:
I have been thoroughly enjoying designing shirts.
I’ve loved vintage tees & pins forever, so I decided to recreate some of those designs—and also make a few of my own designs from scratch. Here are some examples:
Anyways, you can buy them all here. I’m pretty sure I get about $0.02/shirt—if that—so I promise I’m not trying to sell you anything. I just enjoy fun t-shirts.
Next week is
AWP1, & I’ll be bringing some zines to give away. I’m shy but, if you see me there and say hi, I’ll give you one (until I run out!).
For those who aren’t going to Philly next week, you might check out Smol Fair, a totally virtual book fair where journals/presses offer discounts and readings. & it’s free!
I was bored today,
so I made a tiny lil zine with a poem that was first published in Southeast Review.
You can view it below—or, if you want to print out a copy at home, you can access the document here (doodles not included).
&, for reference, the font’s my own handwriting, which is ugly but, if you want it, you can download it here.

Quotations:
I fumble with the words in my mouth and fail.
For too long it’s been white, cis, straight men who determined that which constituted a body worthy of sovereignty, with themselves as the predominant model.
Mail club
In case anyone isn’t sick of me yet & likes snail mail, I have a few subscription options that offer you a book/zine/broadside etc. every month.
(I imagine you already have a bunch of services vying for your affection, so this might not be your thing. But it also might be a good alternative if you’re considering ending your Disney+ subscription following news of their donations to bigoted politicians.)
