Housekeeping:
Omg I feel like we haven’t caught up in so long. I’ve been, in recent weeks, putting my, uh, suicidality to good use by channeling it into art.
With that in mind:
I’ve made so many new collages (x) & so many new posters (x).
I also had my first essay published in Copper Nickel recently—
you can read it here.
& I have a new zine out
(x)
& I designed myself some rings
(x)
& a few shirts
(x)
& here’s another zine
(x)
Anyways.
I’m not even trying to sell you anything (though, because ~capitalism~, everything’s for sale). Mostly I would just like a little credit for staying alive despite all the *gestures vaguely*. Please & thank you.
Opportunities:
What I’m reading:
Priestdaddy, Patricia Lockwood1
Tomboyland, Melissa Faliveno
Quotations:
your image came apart inside my hands—
-Benjamin Krusling
The most ecstatic anxiety
Unchecked burst of rhododendron . . .
-Benjamin Krusling
There’s a phrase for it, the way
I’m lately loving like a riveris pressed to my door
I dreamed you
into a stormfield of lavender
All the capybaras sighing
into extinction so wordlesslyit’s now cliché I know a disturbing lack
of fire alarms is standard How latelyI’ve been loving like a tornado
shelter enkindled in votivecandles
I dread caterpillars
munching holes in your tender summer
cherry tomato heart
Sometimes I think I know
how to do nothing well except grieve
men I’m aware it’s a problem
The oceans still will spill
into cities like screaming doorbellswhile we’re busy dousing
ourselves in gasoline and callingit need
as usual we are greedy we want
and we want
